5 Tips for Paranormal Hunting

1. Health

Any type of Paranormal activates you plan on doing MUST be taken with EXTREME CAUTION ! It should never be taken as a game or a joke. One must be in GOOD HEALTH because when your sick or in any kind of emotional state of mind, your body and soul are weak to fight off against possible attacks or even POSESSTION !

2. Knowledge

Two Parts

a. When getting readies to go out to Investigate an "Alleged" hunted place or area... It's wise to know what and where you are going is about, and it's history. Most EXPERINCED Hunters/Investigators will tell you that doing research and finding out stories about a location are a MUST !

b. If going to a location that you have never been to before, might be well-advised to check it out during the day first. Example : Your going to an old house that no one lives at anymore. There could many dangers that you won't see during the night (even with a strong flashlight). i e weak floors, nails, glass and even holes in floor.

3. Clothing etc.

When going to a lot of outdoors or even buildings you want to make sure your dressed for such an outing. COMMEN SENSE ! You don't wear a dress or shorts because you look better for your viewers. I personally can tell you that places I've been had MANY hidden objects that can hurt you. Wear gloves if possible because you don't want to touch things that you don't know where its been or came from with your bare hands. Also, it's another way to protect those hands !

4. Hydration

Bring plenty of water with you. NOT SODAS !! (Soda's will just dehydrate you faster). As a big man myself, I get easily dehydrated investigating locations (especially on hot days/nights). Being scared or very tense, besides the walking you will be doing will dehydrate you very quickly. Also, having water for emergencies to used to wash cuts etc. Also, bringing along a couple of energy bars is a very smart thing to have.

5. Safety

ALWAYS... ALWAYS let someone know where you are going and what time you are going! I can't even tell you how many times I've seen and heard stories of people getting lost or hurt to the point they can't walk or get a signal. If, you do end up in a situation that isn't of you control... STAY CALM! Freaking out or panicking is just going to make things worst. A clear head is a thinking head.

My final thoughts...

I use ALL these tips ALL the time when Investigating locations. The biggest thing in doing ANY kind of Paranormal Investigation is to take it SLOW! Nothing or Nowhere is worth doing fast. Understandable that some investigations can be stressful and quite frankly... Scary!! And I too want to just run. But running is only going to get you hurt or even worst, hurt the people you're with. Looking forward to seeing one of your Ghost Hunting shows out there on social media.
